This guide assumes that you have signed up for a Textable account and are at the “Profile” page (located at https://textable.app/profile.)
- First, you should login to your console at https://dashboard.bandwidth.com/portal/report/#login:
- Once logged in, go to the Account Overview page.
- Copy your “Account ID” and paste it into the Account ID field on your Textable profile.
- You will now need to create a new application in your Bandwidth.com Dashboard.
- Name the application: Textable (You can name it whatever you’d like.)
- Click “Messaging” for Application Type.
- Enter the following in Callback URL: https://app01.textable.co/receive?provider=bandwidthv2
- Click “Create Application”
- Once created, you should be able to see an Application ID. Copy and paste that into the Application ID field on your Textable profile.
- Please be sure to assign the number (or location) that you would like to use with Textable to the newly created application inside of Bandwidth.
- Once the number is assigned, be sure to enter that number in your Textable profile in the DID / VoIP Phone # field.
- You will now need to create a set of API Credentials. You can do so from the Application Details screen of the application that you just created in your Bandwidth Dashboard.
- Click + Create New button.
- Copy the API Token from the newly created token and paste it into your Textable profile API Token field.
- Copy the API Secret from the newly created token and paste it into your Textable profile API Secret field.
- Click Update Profile Details in Textable to save the entered data.
- You should now be able to send and receive with Textable.
