Tychron Setup Guide

Note: If you are using a newly added phone number or carrier account or have had messaging stop working unexpectedly, please make sure you have completed your carrier's 10DLC registration process before attempting to utilize Textable. 10DLC registration is required by ALL supported carriers due to the requirements set by the wireless carriers.

Configuring your Tychron account with Textable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.

  1. First, you should login in a new tab (so you can easily copy / paste into the previous form on Textable Signup) to your console at https://atlas.tychron.online.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the “Configuration” page at https://atlas.tychron.online/switches.
  3. Here, you will need to create or update the settings on an existing Switch
    1. Click “New Switch” button or edit an existing Switch.
    2. Set Profile Name to Textable (optional)
    3. Enable the toggle for SMS and MMS.
    4. Set both the Webhook URLs to “https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=tychron”

Note: If you are a private label customer, please replace “https://inbound.textable.app” with your private label hostname (e.g. “https://privatelabel-txb.textable.app/receive?provider=tychron”). You should have received this value in your onboarding e-mail, but can also be requested by e-mailing support@textable.co.
    5. Click “Create” to create the new Switch or “Update” to save changes.
  4. Next, go to “API Keys” under the Main menu.
  5. Create an API Key and name it “Textable”.
  6. Copy it into the API Key field in Textable.
  7. Enter a number that is associated to the Tychron Switch created or modified above and save your Textable profile.

That’s it, you should be able to navigate to the Conversations screen on Textable to send and receive messages with Tychron!
