VoxTelesys Setup Guide

Note: If you are using a newly added phone number or carrier account or have had messaging stop working unexpectedly, please make sure you have completed your carrier's 10DLC registration process before attempting to utilize Textable. 10DLC registration is required by ALL supported carriers due to the requirements set by the wireless carriers.

Configuring your Voxtelesys account with Textable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.

  1. First, you should login in a new tab (so you can easily copy / paste into the previous form on Textable Signup) to your console at https://portal.voxtelesys.net/
  2. Once logged in, go to your Messaging Applications page at https://portal.voxtelesys.net/messaging-applications
  3. Here, you will need to create a Messaging Application
    1. Click “Create Application” button.
    2. Set Profile Name to Textable.
    3. Select your Trunk Group
    4. Set HTTP Method to “Post”
    5. Set Events to “Both”
    6. Set both the MO and DR Webhook URLs to “https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=voxtelesys

Note: If you are a private label customer, please replace “https://inbound.textable.app” with your private label hostname (e.g. “https://privatelabel-txb.textable.app/receive?provider=voxtelesys”). You should have received this value in your onboarding e-mail, but can also be requested by e-mailing support@textable.co.

    7. Set DR Type to “Per Recipient”
    8. Set Authentication to “None”
    9. Click “Save” to create the new messaging Application.
  4. Next, go to “API Keys” under the main menu: https://portal.voxtelesys.net/api-keys
  5. Create a new API Key
    1. Enabled = Checked
    2. Set Name to “Textable”
    3. Set Trunk Group to the same trunk in your messaging application
    4. Copy the new API Key into the Access Tokenfield in Textable.
  6. We must now configure the numbers/DIDs in Voxtelesys to use the messaging application.
    1. Go to the PhoneNumbers > Numbers section in Voxtelesys (https://portal.voxtelesys.net/dids)
    2. In the numbers table, under actions “edit” the number you would like to enabled SMS on for textable
    3. Set the Messaging Application to your textable profile!

That’s it, you should be able to send and receive messages!
