Flowroute Setup Guide

Configuring your Flowroute account with Textable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.

  1. First, you should login to your console at https://manage.flowroute.com/accounts/login/ .
  2. Once logged in, go to the Preferences -> API Control page at https://manage.flowroute.com/accounts/preferences/api/
  3. We must now configure the inbound webhooks for incoming messages.

    Note: If you are a private label customer, please replace “https://inbound.textable.app” with your private label hostname (e.g. “https://privatelabel-txb.textable.app/receive?provider=flowroute”). You should have received this value in your onboarding e-mail, but can also be requested by e-mailing support@textable.co.

    If you are migrating from FlowSMS and are having issues with inbound to Textable, you may need to manually unset your callback URLS. Please contact support@textable.co for more information.
    1. Set the SMS Callback to https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=flowroute and click “Enable SMS”
    2. Set the MMS Callback to https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=flowroute and click “Enable MMS”
    3. Make sure that your API version is set to v2.1. 
  4. On Textable, select “Flowroute” for the Provider field.
  5. Set Phone Number field to the number that you want to use to send / receive messages with Textable. 
  6. Copy Access Key from above into your Textable profile. 
  7. Copy Secret Key from above into your Textable profile.
  8. Click “Update Profile Details”. 

That’s it, you should be able to send and receive messages!
