Note: If you are using a newly added phone number or carrier account, or if messaging has stopped working unexpectedly, please make sure you have completed your carrier’s 10DLC registration process before attempting to utilize Textable. 10DLC registration is required by all supported carriers due to wireless carrier requirements.
Configuring your Clearfly account with Textable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.
Before continuing, confirm that the telephone number you would like to use with Textable has been registered for messaging through The Campaign Registry (TCR).
From Clearfly’s perspective, all telephone numbers that send or receive SMS/MMS must belong to a TCR Brand and Campaign.
First, log in to your Clearfly Portal.
In Clearfly, create or configure an HTTPS Destination for Textable.
When creating the HTTPS Destination, set the webhook URL to:
https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=clearfly
Note: If you are a private label customer, please replace https://inbound.textable.app with your private label hostname. For example:
https://inbound.textable.app
https://privatelabel-txb.textable.app/receive?provider=clearfly
You should have received this value in your onboarding e-mail, but it can also be requested by e-mailing support@textable.co.
Clearfly will automatically generate the following values for the HTTPS Destination:
On your Textable profile, copy the values from Clearfly into the corresponding fields:
On your Textable profile, enter the phone number you would like to use with Clearfly in the DID / VoIP Phone # field.
Next, you must configure the Messaging Endpoint for your phone number in Clearfly.
In Clearfly, each telephone number has a Messaging Endpoint. Select the Messaging Endpoint for the phone number you would like to use with Textable.
Set the Messaging Endpoint delivery method to Destination.
Then, select the HTTPS Destination that you created for Textable.
Important: Creating the HTTPS Destination is not enough by itself. The phone number’s Messaging Endpoint must also be set to use destination delivery and must be assigned to the Textable HTTPS Destination.
Click Update Profile Details in Textable to save the entered data.
That’s it, you should be able to send and receive messages!
If outbound messages fail with a 403 User not allowed on this endpoint error, confirm that the phone number is associated with the same Clearfly HTTPS Destination whose REST Account and REST Token were entered into Textable.
403 User not allowed on this endpoint
If inbound messages are not appearing in Textable, confirm that the Messaging Endpoint for the phone number has its delivery method set to Destination and is assigned to the Textable HTTPS Destination.
